Nikki Philp
Nikki graduated from the University of Manitoba’s Robson Hall Faculty of Law in 2016, after previously earning an Honours degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Winnipeg. She articled and spent her first few years of practice at a mid-size law firm in Winnipeg before relocating her home and practice to the R.M. of Gimli.
Nikki has made numerous appearances in Family Court, including Case Conferencing, Trial and Motion hearings and had a brief appearance at the Court of Appeal shortly after getting her Call to the Bar. Nikki has also had the benefit of working and volunteering with a variety of lawyers who have provided her with valuable insight to take into her own practice. Despite these experiences, Nikki believes that many matters can be resolved without resorting to litigation and strives assist parties in reaching out-of-Court resolutions where possible.
Nikki practices in the areas of real estate, wills and estates and uncontested family law, including cohabitation and separation agreements. Nikki is also a Notary Public for the Province of Manitoba. When not in the office, you can find Nikki playing slo-pitch or beach volleyball, in musical rehearsal, fishing, and almost always with her dog by her side.
